Looks like I’ll be at Velocity Five watching the UFC 87 again this weekend!

 

Georges ‘Rush’ St-Pierre defends the UFC® Welterweight Championship at UFC® 87: SEEK AND DESTROY, as number one contender Jon Fitch steps up to take on the newly crowned champion. Then, hometown hero Brock Lesnar returns to the Octagon™ to seek redemption in the Heavyweight Division. Plus, in what could end up being the matchup of the year, lightweight contenders face off as Kenny ‘KenFlo’ Florian battles Roger ‘El Matador’ Huerta.

UFC® 87: SEEK AND DESTROY – Saturday, August 9, live on pay-per-view from Minneapolis, MN. 

On Saturday, August 9th Velocity Five Sports Restaurant and Bar will be having a live viewing of UFC 87: Seek and Destroy.  This event will be hosted by WJFK’s Big O and Dukes.  As with all events, we encourage you to arrive at least 2 hours early.  During the last UFC fight, which started at 10 PM, Velocity Five had all tables filled by 8:30 PM.  We will only be taking reservations for parties of 10 or more.  To reserve your party for UFC 87, please email us at velocityfive@velocityfiverestaurant.com with “UFC 87 reservation” in the subject line.  Reservations will only be available from 6 PM – 8 PM.  Thank you.
